Dancing in Lockdown

Well - what a strange time we are all in, having been thrown into a turmoil of uncertainty. Suddenly becoming a virtual world more than anyone could have ever expected. Life has become a crash course in learning new skills like video creating and editing, and redeveloping a whole website to create an online portal for you all (with the help of Danyon).

Sometimes when things happen in your life we question why? Despite its difficulties, it has been valuable for me to reflect and realise that through it all that I'm lucky to have not only my children but all my lovely dancers with the school as well.

The feeling we get when we come into the studio, when we see our friends, or when we succeed in a dance movement you have been practicing for ages -

these are things we miss. Hopefully, we can all appreciate the smaller things right now and when we are back together we will have such a fun and fantastic time (I certainly intend to). Another positive that I have been able to take from all of this is that as the Principal I don’t always get to see some of you as much as I want, so being able to see you on our online live classes has been fantastic and a real treat!

I can't wait to get back into the studios and have so many exciting things for you all to do hopefully soon! I would like you all to remember that through your dedication and support MK Dance rocks!
