mk minis - Early Years Dance & Movement
mk minis is MK Dance’s specialist early years programme for children aged 18 months - 4 years, carefully designed to support the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through dance, movement and music.
Each session blends structured movement, imaginative play and musical exploration, helping children develop physically, socially and emotionally while having fun. Classes are delivered on-site at your nursery by qualified MK Dance teachers and are planned to complement your existing curriculum and daily routine.
mk minis supports key EYFS areas including Physical Development, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication and Language, and Expressive Arts and Design, ensuring children are learning through movement in a meaningful and age-appropriate way.

MK Dance is a well-established, family-run dance school with a strong reputation for quality, care and professionalism. All MK Dance teachers delivering mk minis are fully DBS certified, trained and experienced in working with young children. As Principal of MK Dance, I am a parent myself and understand the trust nurseries place in external providers. I also work part-time with SEND children, which strongly informs our inclusive, nurturing and adaptable teaching approach.
Every mk minis session is delivered with clear structure, consistency and sensitivity to individual needs, ensuring children feel safe, supported and confident to take part.
