Kathryn Billings

With a lifelong passion for dance and education, Kathryn brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and dedication to every student she teaches. She holds a BA (Hons) in the Art and Teaching of Ballet from the Royal Academy of Dance and is a Licentiate (LRAD) and Registered Teacher with both the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD).

Alongside leading MK Dance, Kathryn mentors trainee dance teachers and works as a SEND Teaching Assistant and mentor at Twynham School.

Committed to continuous professional development, she regularly attends training, including courses with the Royal Ballet School, and holds qualifications in Progressing Ballet Technique, Acrobatic Arts, and Pilates.

Her passion is creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where every student can grow in confidence, develop their creativity, and discover a lifelong love of dance.

Ballet Teacher

Chloe Spencer

Chloe's passion for ballet began at age 3; when her babysitter was ill so she was taken to a ballet - the first time she sat still, as she was transfixed! She is ISTD Trained in Classical Ballet, Tap & Modern to high levels and has performed with the English Youth Ballet in Coppelia & Giselle en pointe shoes, and in various folk and rock music videos, a feature film and the Olympics Opening Ceremony.

She comes alive when she’s teaching and inspiring children and adults to dance. She’s passionate about sharing the joy of dance with everyone, and runs community dance projects that make dance inclusive for all backgrounds and SENs, and builds communities.

Liv Dee Nordwind

Liv is a graduate of Laine Theatre Arts, holding a Level 6 Diploma in Dance and Musical Theatre. She has taught at Stagecoach, Langley Dance and Theatre Arts Academy, and Louise Benson School of Dance, and enjoys creating choreography that helps young dancers grow in confidence and creativity.

As a performer, Liv has received multiple regional and national awards, including CYD Dancer of the Year 2019 and the Outstanding Technique Award at the Janet Cram Awards. Trained in ballet, jazz, musical theatre, commercial, contemporary, tap, singing and acting, she has also performed in professional pantomimes and productions at Epsom Playhouse.

Liv is passionate about helping every student develop their skills, celebrate their achievements, and discover a lifelong love of dance.

Ballet & Silver Swans Teacher

Anna Austin

Anna is a qualified Ballet Teacher who completed her ballet teaching training with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). She successfully achieved her Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies, gaining RAD Registered Teacher Status (RTS). Anna is also a Silver Swans Licensee.

Anna started ballet lessons at the age of three, training at her local dance school and undertaking RAD examinations. Anna has also been part of the MK Dance family since the very beginning. Upon her return from university, she attended adult ballet classes, completed her teacher training placement with Kathryn as her mentor, and upon qualification joined the MK Dance teaching team. Anna is delighted to be returning to MK Dance this year to teach the Silver Swans ballet classes.

Anna loves to teach and provides a fun, friendly, and supportive environment for her students. Anna is experienced working with both children and adults, and she is passionate about sharing the joy and benefits of dance with people at every stage of life.
