What an Exciting Term at MK Dance – and There’s More to Come…

As we wrap up another fantastic term at MK Dance, we wanted to take a moment to say just how incredibly proud we are of every single one of our students.
The hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm we’ve seen in the studio each week have been nothing short of inspiring. It has been such a joy watching our dancers grow- not just in their technique, but in confidence, resilience, and love for dance. These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do.
This term has been filled with achievements, progress, and so many special memories. Every student should feel extremely proud of what they’ve accomplished.
And now… it’s time for a well-earned rest.
We hope you all enjoy a wonderful Easter break filled with relaxation, family time, and (of course) plenty of chocolate. You’ve earned it!

Exams – Congratulations & What’s Next
A huge well done to all of our students who took their ballet exams on 26th March - what a fantastic achievement! We’re so proud of the focus, commitment, and courage shown by everyone involved.
We also have more Ballet, Modern and Tap exams coming up next term. If your child is taking part, you’ll receive a separate email with all the details very soon.
Introducing Silver Swans at MK Dance
We are absolutely delighted to be launching Silver Swans at MK Dance.
This beautiful programme is designed especially for older learners—whether you’re completely new to ballet or returning after a break. Classes focus on improving mobility, posture, coordination, and overall wellbeing, all in a welcoming and supportive environment.
📍 Fridays at 10:30am in Sanderstead
If you - or someone you know - would like to give it a try, we would love to welcome you. We’re also considering adding a Thursday class, so do let us know if that would be of interest!

MK Associates Steal the Show (Again!)
We couldn’t be prouder of our MK Associates, who performed in Margate this term and absolutely shone on stage. They represented MK Dance with such professionalism, commitment, and talent. Opportunities like these are so important - they give our dancers real performance experience and help them build confidence in live settings.
MK Dance Show 2027 – Let the Planning Begin!
We’re thrilled to share that planning has officially started for our MK Dance Show 2027! Our shows are always such special events, celebrating the hard work and passion of every dancer. Each year they grow bigger and better, and we are so excited to begin bringing the next one to life. There’s lots more to come - but trust us, it’s going to be worth the wait.
Saying Goodbye (For Now) to Molly
This term, we’ll be saying goodbye to Molly as she moves on to focus on her Pilates teaching.
Molly has been such a valued member of the MK Dance team, and we are incredibly grateful for the energy, care, and dedication she has brought to every class. She has made a real impact on our students, and she will be hugely missed.
We wish her every success in this next chapter - and we very much hope it’s not a final goodbye, as we may see her return for workshops in the future. There may be a few small adjustments to the Monday timetable as a result, but we’ll keep you fully updated and aim to keep any changes to a minimum.
A Final Thank You
We are so proud of our entire MK Dance family. The creativity, effort, and joy that fills our studio each week is what makes this community so special. Plans for the next term - and beyond - are already well underway, and we can’t wait to share everything that’s coming next.
